ADVISORY: Mayors Against Discrimination Hosts Forum on LGBT Anti-Discrimination Actions and the Federal Equality Act

What:
The Mayors Against Discrimination (MAD) coalition, which San Francisco Mayor Edwin M. Lee
helped form in the wake of discriminatory laws enacted against LGBT individuals in North
Carolina and Mississippi, will host a forum, ‘Local LGBT Protections and National Advocacy’, to
discuss how local LGBT anti-discrimination policy can impact the passage of the Federal
Equality Act, authored by Rep. David Cicilline.   Mayors Against Discrimination is a coalition of
leaders dedicated to fighting for equal rights for all residents and inclusive policies at every level
of government.
