Advisory: Building the Manufacturing Pipeline: Effective Partnerships Yielding Tangible Results Roundtable

PHILADELPHIA – Tomorrow, Friday, October 7, Mayor Kenney will conduct a 30-minute roundtable with middle school students participating in Manufacturing Day tours, high school students from Ben Franklin High’s Advanced Manufacturing Center, PTR Baler Employees and Philadelphia Community College professors and administrators that will oversee its new Advanced Manufacturing programs this fall to discuss what the city can be doing to strengthen its manufacturing pipeline.  This roundtable is part of the Mayor’s plan to create a skilled workforce and a more inclusive economy.

Who: Mayor Jim Kenney, Philadelphia School District students participating in manufacturing programs, PTR Baler Employees, Community College of Philadelphia professors and administrators.
