Agency History
The 11th Survey District was created in 1854 to cover the 24th Ward (West Philadelphia), north of Market Street. By 1929, this territory included the 24th, 34th & 44th Wards. In 1932, part of the territory south of Market Street to Woodland and Warrington Avenues was added to the 11th Survey District. The district was abolished in 1941 and the territory became part of the 7th Survey District.
