Celebrating Philly’s Clean Corridor Champions

Mayor Parker will join more than 400 Taking Care of Business (TCB) Cleaning Ambassadors for a pep rally celebrating the people who help keep Philadelphia’s commercial corridors clean and welcoming.
The event will recognize TCB workers and partner organizations for their commitment to neighborhoods and business districts across the city.

Philadelphia Prisons Opens New Career Skills Center

Location: Philadelphia Department of Prisons, next to the Holmesburg Prison, 8215 Torresdale Avenue, Philadelphia, PA
The Mayor will be present as Philadelphia Department of Prisons will open a new Skills Center providing incarcerated individuals with hands-on training for in-demand careers.
The center will launch with a welding program in partnership with Philadelphia Technician Training Institute, supported by a $350,000 grant from the Green Family Foundation.
