MLB All-Star Weekend: Mayor’s PLAY BALL
Mayor Parker will join Major League Baseball, the U.S. Conference of Mayors, and community partners for the Mayor’s PLAY BALL event at historic Athletic Recreation Center, where more than 100 local youth will participate in introductory baseball and softball activities, sandlot games, and skills clinics designed to introduce more young people to the game.

2026 MLB All-Star Weekend: The HBCU Swingman Classic
Mayor Parker will throw the ceremonial first pitch before Major League Baseball’s HBCU Swingman Classic, a national showcase celebrating Historically Black Colleges and Universities featuring 50 student-athletes representing 17 HBCU baseball programs.
