The Mayor will join community leaders, residents, and visitors for Welcome America’s Juneteenth Freedom Celebration block party in partnership with the African American Museum in Philadelphia, Wawa Welcome America, and VISIT PHILADELPHIA®.

 

7th Annual Millennial Juneteenth Festival

Time: 3:00 p.m.
Location: Kingsessing Recreation Center, 4800 Kingsessing Avenue, Philadelphia, PA

Mayor Parker will attend the 7th Annual Southwest Juneteenth Festival, presented by Millennial Juneteenth.

The free, family-friendly celebration honors the history, culture, and legacy of Juneteenth through live entertainment, local vendors, youth activities, wellness resources and community-focused programming that promotes education, economic empowerment and civic engagement.

Johnson House Historic Site’s 20th Annual Philadelphia Juneteenth Festival

Time: 12:00 p.m.
Location: 6300 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA

This is the oldest, Philadelphia Juneteenth street festival to be held in Philadelphia. Mayor Parker will attend the free, family-friendly celebration that highlights the festival’s roots at one of the nation’s most significant Underground Railroad sites.

Mayor Parker to Participate in a Philadelphia Juneteenth Parade

Hosted by the Pennsylvania Juneteenth Initiative, the event will include a vibrant parade, cultural performances, educational programming and community festivities that honor history, self-determination, and the enduring legacy of freedom.
