Mayor Parker to Attend Kickoff Meeting with Philadelphia School District Workers

The Mayor will attend this meeting with several hundred Philadelphia School District workers represented by SEIU 32BJ as they launch their contract campaign. Members will discuss the current state of public education funding and outline priorities and needs for a new contract.

The gathering marks the start of organized negotiations focused on improving working conditions and strengthening support for school district employees.

51st Odunde African American Street Festival

Location: 23rd Street and South Street, Philadelphia, PA

Mayor Parker to attend Odunde, the largest African American street festival in the country. The free 16-block event will feature arts & crafts, food vendors and 2 stages of live entertainment.

This year’s headliner will be legendary R&B group, BBD.
