FIFA World Cup “Know Before You Go” Press Conference

The Mayor will join Philadelphia Soccer 2026 and public safety, transportation, and emergency management partners for a “Know Before You Go” media briefing ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup and Fan Festival.
The briefing will highlight Philadelphia’s readiness to welcome the world and the One Philly approach that has guided planning, coordination, and execution across agencies and partners.

Kick Off of Free Library Summer Quest Program

The Mayor will join the Free Library of Philadelphia to launch Summer Quest, the city’s annual summer learning initiative.
The event will feature interactive activities for students, an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a celebration of the opportunities Summer Quest provides for young Philadelphians to read, create, explore, and learn throughout the summer.

2026 Police Athletic League Awards Gala

The Mayor will attend the Police Athletic League (PAL) Awards Gala, the organization’s premier annual fundraising event supporting its mission of “Cops Helping Kids.”
The event brings together civic, community, and business leaders to celebrate PAL’s impact on Philadelphia’s youth and recognize individuals whose leadership and service have advanced opportunities for young people across the city.
