Historic Renaming Ceremony Honoring Dr. Constance E. Clayton

The Mayor will join School District of Philadelphia leaders, educators, and community members for an unveiling ceremony formally renaming the District’s headquarters as the Dr. Constance E. Clayton Education Center.
The event will honor Dr. Clayton’s impact on educational equity and include the unveiling of the building’s new name, street sign, and commemorative mural.

Eisenhower Fellowships Annual Awards Dinner

As a 2010 Eisenhower Fellow, Mayor Parker joined fellows in Argentina and Chile as part of the organization’s international exchange program.
She will attend this year’s awards dinner to honor filmmaker Ken Burns with the 2026 Dwight D. Eisenhower Medal for Leadership and Service and Claire-Marie Le Guay with the 2026 Distinguished Fellow Award.

The Mayor will join the Philadelphia Music Alliance to celebrate the 2026 class of Walk of Fame inductees and honor Philadelphia’s enduring legacy as “The Original Music City.”
The event will recognize the powerful role music plays in shaping the city’s culture, community, and economy while highlighting the Parker Administration’s commitment to supporting the arts and expanding opportunities for the next generation of Philadelphia creatives.
