The Mayor will welcome U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy upon his arrival at Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station aboard Amtrak’s Freedom 250 Acela Train.
She will then join the Secretary at Carpenters’ Hall for a ceremonial signing ceremony alongside 40 students from Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

Mayor Parker to Deliver Keynote at American Jewish Committee Event Celebrating Jewish Heritage and Culture

The Mayor will deliver a keynote address at the American Jewish Committee program celebrating Jewish heritage and culture in the United States during the 250th anniversary of the country’s founding.
The event will include remarks from AJC leadership and a featured conversation with Rabbi Lance J. Sussman on early American Jewish life, followed by a Q&A and closing program.

Mayor Parker to Announce Market East Revitalization Efforts and Launch Temporary Retail Initiative

Outside Fashion District Philadelphia
The Mayor, alongside City officials and local partners, will join Center City District to unveil near-term actions advancing the Market East Revival, including temporary retail, public art, and corridor beautification projects.
The event will also mark the official launch of “Meantime on Market,” followed by a walkthrough of storefront activations showcasing local businesses and community-centered experiences.
