Mayor Parker to Attend Breakfast Celebrating “Rising Up: Rocky and the Making of Monuments” Exhibition

Time: 9:00 a.m.

Location: The Great Stair Hall, 2nd Floor, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA

The Mayor will attend a VIP breakfast reception marking the opening of “Rising Up: Rocky and the Making of Monuments,” sponsored by the Eastern Atlantic Regional Council of Carpenters and IBEW Local 98.

Mayor Parker to Join 38th Annual Workers Memorial Day Program

Time: 10:00 a.m.

Location: Sheet Metal Workers Union Hall, 1301 South Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA

The Mayor will join PhilaPOSH and the Philadelphia Council, AFL-CIO to honor workers who lost their lives on the job. Together, the city pauses to remember, reflect, and renew the call for dignity and protection at work.
