The Mayor will attend the ceremonial inauguration honoring newly elected and re-elected District Attorney, City Controller, and Municipal and Common Pleas Court judges for the City of Philadelphia. The event marks the official commencement of their terms for 2026 and celebrates continued public service within the city’s judicial and civic leadership.

Mayor Parker to Speak at Twice Weekly Trash Collection Press Conference

The Office of Clean and Green Initiatives in partnership with the Department of Sanitation is advancing Mayor Parker’s One Philly, A United City Cleaning Initiative by introducing twice-per-week trash collection.
Phase 2 of the initiative will launch on Monday, January 5, 2026, within the boundaries of:
- Vine Street to Hunting Park Avenue from Broad Street to the Schuylkill River
- Vine Street to Glenwood Avenue from Broad Street to the Delaware River
