The Department of Revenue is holding the 2025 meeting to review account write-offs as a virtual event. This year’s debt review panel will convene as a Microsoft Teams meeting, but it’s open to the public. Here’s everything you need to know:
What: Every year, the Department of Revenue holds a public meeting called the Accounts Review Panel. The City reviews old debts annually and removes them from its financial statements for accounting purposes.
Once a debt has been written off, it is no longer considered a receivable for accounting purposes. Nevertheless, the debt remains in City systems, and efforts to collect it continue. The Panel meets every September.
When: Wednesday, September 24, 2025, starting at 10 a.m.
How: By joining this Microsoft Teams meeting link: Join the meeting, and using this meeting ID: 273 814 736 615 1 and passcode: BW2vd7qD.
You can also join on your phone, by calling (267) 404-3440. If you are calling in from outside Philadelphia, you can find your local number for the Panel here: Conference Dial-in Numbers.
Who: The Accounts Review Panel and any member of the public who wants to participate.
