OHR is partnering with the Free Library of Philadelphia, community organizations, schools, and workforce partners to host career information tables and hiring events across the city this September. These sessions are your chance to:
- Get answers to your questions about civil service careers
- Understand how the civil service hiring process works
- Learn about openings in administration, law enforcement, skilled trades, and more
- Apply for jobs on-site with guidance from HR professionals
These events are open to all and designed to make the path to public service clearer, more welcoming, and more accessible.

At select events, you’ll also find the City’s Hiring Bus — a mobile recruitment center fully equipped with application stations and staffed by knowledgeable HR professionals. The Hiring Bus makes it possible to connect directly with our team, learn about open positions, and apply on the spot.
