Calling all Philly creators, storytellers, and trendsetters ages 12–24!
This summer, we’re launching #TouchGrassPhilly, a brand-new youth influencer program from Philadelphia Parks & Rec—and we want YOU on our team.
We’re looking for young people to co-host events, make content for our social media, and show the world what summer in Philly really looks like.

What’s happening:
Youth Nights at The Oval
Thursday evenings starting June 26, we’re turning The Oval into a safe, welcoming space where young people can:
- Hang out and connect with friends
- Play games and join activities
- Enjoy music and good vibes
- Help lead and document the experience as a youth content creator
Family Field Days in Fairmount Park
On select Saturdays, Parks & Rec will host free, all-ages events featuring:
- Games and outdoor activities
- Food and local vendors
- Open space to relax and connect
- Opportunities to create and share content from the event
What is #TouchGrassPhilly?
With nearly 100,000 followers across our social media platforms, this initiative gives young people a meaningful platform to:
- Build their presence as youth influencers
- Share their stories with a wide audience
- Collaborate with Parks & Rec on events and digital content
- Gain experience and grow their creative networks
