Mayor Kenney to Undergo Routine Medical Procedure

PHILADELPHIA — The City of Philadelphia announced today that Mayor Jim Kenney will undergo a medical procedure on Friday, December 23. The mayor will undergo a routine colonoscopy and endoscopy procedure—a minimally invasive medical treatment.Mayor Kenney will be under anesthesia for a short period of time for the procedure, and will be out of the office on Friday. The Mayor plans to return to work beginning Tuesday, December 27 after the holiday weekend.
