Cobbs Creek Parkway Temporary Closure For Maintenance

PHILADELPHIA – Roadway maintenance is scheduled for Cobbs Creek Parkway, between 65^th Street and Springfield Avenue on Saturday, March 19, announced Streets Commissioner Carlton Williams. Temporary roadway restrictions go into effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Work is weather-permitting, and if completed sooner than expected will result in the opening of Cobbs Creek Parkway ahead of schedule.

The temporary closure will allow City employees to install traffic-calming devices along this roadway. This work has been scheduled for Saturday hours to expedite repairs, minimize disruption to motorists, and provide a safe work environment for the workers.

For the duration of the work, Streets Department crews will make every effort to minimize the inconvenience to affected drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians. The Streets Department thanks residents in advance for their patience and cooperation during this project.
