PHILADELPHIA – On June 16, 2021, the Board of Ethics approved a settlement agreement, the copy of which is attached hereto:

Protect Our Police PAC and Nicholas Gerace: Resolving violations of Philadelphia’s Campaign Finance Law. Specifically, Protect Our Police PAC filed seven Campaign Finance Reports past their filing deadline during the 2021 Primary season.

Protect Our Police PAC’s late filing of its Cycle 1 (6th Tuesday Pre-Primary) report is subject to a civil monetary penalty of $2,000; for its Cycle 101 (4th Tuesday Pre-Primary) report, a civil monetary penalty of $2,500; for its Cycle 2 (2nd Friday Pre-Primary), a civil monetary penalty of $2,000; for its three 24-Hour Pre-Primary Reports, a civil monetary penalty of $1,250 per report (totaling $3,750); and for its Cycle 202 (Last Friday Pre-Primary), a civil monetary penalty of $1,750.

Protect Our Police PAC and Nicholas Gerace are jointly and severally liable for the cumulative civil monetary penalty of $12,000 that they have agreed to pay within 30 days of the effective date of this Settlement.
