WHAT: Fire Department partners with the Department of Public Health to open COVID-19 community vaccination clinic

WHERE: Northeast Baptist Church, 4744 Tackawanna St., Philadelphia

Fire Commissioner Adam K. Thiel will visit the first public vaccination clinic to be staffed by PFD paramedics & EMTs in partnership with the City’s Department of Public Health. The PFD EMS providers will inoculate about 150 residents during the day-long clinic. PFD members expect to administer vaccinations at additional public clinics in the coming weeks.

Media outlets are asked to hide the identities of residents being vaccinated when broadcast for privacy reasons.

COVID-19 Precautions:
In accordance with local health and safety guidelines, members of the media should wear masks, observe social distancing, and bring distancing equipment (e.g., boom poles). Please pool resources where possible.
