WHAT: The Philadelphia Fire Department Foundation will donate more $21,000 in memory of Firefighter Emma Morgan to Women of Faith and Hope, a local nonprofit assisting those with breast cancer. The funds were raised through last fall’s sale of PFD breast cancer awareness T-shirts. Morgan died of breast cancer in 2019.

The Philadelphia Fire Department partnered with the PFD Foundation to sell more than 1,900 T-shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October). The proceeds, totaling more than $21,000, will help Women of Faith and Hope to provide resources, information and support to those battling breast cancer.

The black-and-pink T-shirts featured the PFD logo and “In Memory of FF Emma Morgan” on the front; on the back, they featured the phrase “We Don’t Just Fight Fires, We Fight Cancer Too.” Limited quantities are still available.
