PWD
PWD has completed the lateral repairs to all properties that have been identified.
PWD has prepared the water main replacement bid, and anticipates being able to begin work immediately upon completion of the PGW replacement project.
PWD barricades have been removed and PGW has put its barricades in place during the PGW replacement project.
PGW
PGW began work to replace the underground natural gas infrastructure on 1400 S. 8th Street, 1400 S. 9th Street and 800 Wilder Street on Monday, February 17, 2020.
PGW has three crews working Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the following locations.
- Crew A – Starting on East Side of 8th Street at 8th and Reed and will work south. PGW will not block the intersection of 8th and Reed.
- Crew B – Starting on West Side of 8th Street at 8th and Reed and will work south.
- Crew C – Starting on East Side of 9th Street at 9th and Dickinson and will work north. PGW will not block the intersection of 9th and Dickinson.
Weather permitting, PGW anticipates work will be complete by early April.
