On Saturday, November 30, commercial corridors across the city are participating in the 10th annual Small Business Saturday. Come out and shop at your favorite local small businesses—or explore new ones in a different neighborhood! 

Small Business Saturday celebrates local small businesses, the people who run them, and the important impact they have in their communities. This annual event encourages you to shop small and visit local commercial corridors. 

On November 30, visit diverse shopping districts all over the city for discounts, events, and more. Then, go back—again and again—to finish your holiday shopping at all your favorite local small businesses.

These are some of the locations you can visit to shop small this weekend:

Chestnut Hill

Independent boutiques and galleries, family-owned home goods shops, local lifestyle and beauty experts, chef-driven restaurants and breweries—Chestnut Hill offers something for everyone to enjoy during Small Business Saturday this holiday season.

East Passyunk

Come celebrate the season on East Passyunk Avenue! This corridor has boutiques featuring one-of-a-kind items, plus acclaimed restaurants and cafes providing delicious food and beverages. This holiday season, select shops are offering free gifts with purchase, free gift wrapping, and discounts all season long.

Germantown

Grab a friend or family member and visit businesses throughout the Germantown neighborhood. They’ll be creating unique shopping experiences on the big day, from open house events, to buy one get one free deals and other discounts, and more. #ShopSmallGermantown and support your neighborhood businesses with strong roots in the community!

Kensington and Fishtown

This Small Business Saturday, New Kensington CDC holds its annual free Holiday Flea Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Fishtown! There will be local businesses and artists—plus Small Business Saturday-themed swag. Boutiques, studios, makers, markets, bakeries, and even a distillery are celebrating Small Business Saturday with special pop ups, refreshments, sales, and much more.

Manayunk

This charming neighborhood along the Schuylkill River is home to over 50 small businesses who will be celebrating the 10th annual Small Business Saturday in a big way—sales, promotions, giveaways, and more.

Mayfair  

The holiday season is upon us, and there is no better place to celebrate than in Mayfair! Walk, shop, and dine in the businesses, boutiques, restaurants, and taverns on our diverse commercial corridor. 

North 5th Street

All Saturday long, businesses along North 5th Street offer fun, sales, and good cheer! Come explore North 5th, one of the most diverse and international commercial corridors throughout Philadelphia, and shop where global is local!

Old City

Shop along cobblestone streets filled with centuries-old charm in this neighborhood. One of Philadelphia’s original neighborhoods, Old City is home to plenty of unique shops, boutiques, art galleries, design showrooms, restaurants, cafes, salons, spas, and more.
