The Philly Reading Coaches (PRC) will be popping up in LOVE Park this summer!

PRC pop-ups will feature reading booths (staffed by volunteer Reading Coaches) for one-one-one reading sessions with kids in the park, a children’s book nook with dedicated outdoor-reading space, and free books to take home for kindergarten to 3rd grade readers.

Bring your little ones to the park for a fun and enriching day!

The PRC team and volunteer Reading Coaches will be on hand to provide information about becoming a Reading Coach. Stop by to check out a reading session and talk to a volunteer about their experience with the program.

Philly Reading Coaches come from all backgrounds and walks of life, but share a common passion — they love helping children learn to read!

The Philly Reading Coaches is an early literacy / civic engagement program that pairs volunteers with K-3rd grade students for weekly, one-on-one reading sessions.
