WHAT: Fire Prevention Drama Contest

WHEN: Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 10 a.m.

WHERE: Father Judge High School, 3301 Solly Ave., Philadelphia

The annual Fire Prevention Drama Contest features children from rec centers across the city performing fire safety skits that they have written and developed with staff from the Parks & Recreation Department.

This year’s theme is Cooking Hazards Endanger Families, or “CHEF.” The contest will be judged by a panel of people with backgrounds in the performing arts.
