The 4th of July fireworks haven’t started yet, but things are heating up in Philadelphia’s parks and rec centers this weekend!
The weather forecast looks hot and sunny with temps in the 90s, so make sure to wear your sunscreen, stay hydrated, and find ways to stay cool!
Here are our top five events for this weekend.
SEAMAAC Farmers’ Market
Farmers’ markets provide fresh, nutritious food to Philadelphians. At these markets, local farmers sell food they raise directly to customers, customers can ask questions and learn more about where the food is grown, and people have a chance to try new fruit, vegetables and other farm-raised products.
When: Saturday, June 30, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Where: Mifflin Square Park (500 Wolf Street, 19148)
Cost: Free to attend; fruit, vegetables, and other items available for purchase.

On the Delaware Music Festival
Riverfront North Partnership, Southeast Northeast (the SENE), Sandbox Music Publishing, and Wawa Welcome America are hosting an all-day music festival at beautiful Pennypack on the Delaware Park. This event will feature two stages, a kids corner, yoga on the pier, a local artisan marketplace, food trucks, a beer tent, and more! This is a free event, with VIP tickets available.
When: Saturday, June 30, 11 a.m.-8:30 p.m.

Port Richmond Community Festival
Come out for a fun-filled day out in Campbell Square Park! The festival will include over 100 vendors, food trucks, kids activities, adult activities, live music, 50/50 raffle tickets, and fun for everyone. Half of the proceeds will go back to the park, so invite your friends.
When: Saturday, June 30, 12 p.m.-5 p.m.
Where: Campbell Square (2525 E Allegheny Ave., 19134)

World Cup Watch Party
Come watch the second game of the 2018 World Cup Round of 16 at the beautiful Dell Music Center amphitheater in East Fairmount Park, hosted by the Philadelphia International Unity Cup. This is a free, family-friendly event, with food and beverages available for purchase, and plenty of free giveaways.
When: Saturday, June 30, 2 p.m.-5 p.m.

Roots2Rise Yoga
Roots2Rise Yoga offers this community, all-levels yoga class at the end of the Manayunk Bridge. Bring a mat or towel to practice on, sunglasses, sunscreen, and water bottle for some Sunday morning salutations.
When: Sunday, July 1, 10 a.m.-11 a.m.
Where: Manayunk Bridge (End of Dupont St., 19127)
Cost: Free ($5 optional donation)
