Lobbying

Legislation creating a completely new Philadelphia lobbying registration and reporting law was enacted in June 2010. The Board of Ethics is responsible for administration and enforcement of the City’s Lobbying Code, Chapter 20-1200 of the Philadelphia Code. For the first time, those who attempt to influence legislative or administrative actions of City government may be required to register as lobbyists, lobbying firms or principals and to file quarterly reports of their lobbying expenses.
