Community Meetings

The City of Philadelphia’s Commission on Universal Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) continues to seek public input into its work. The second of two public hearings will take place on Monday, February 22nd from 3:00-7:00pm in Room 400 of City Hall. The purpose of the hearing is to receive feedback on the first draft of the Commission report. Those who wish to testify at the hearing can RSVP at

As part of this outreach effort, the Commission has also scheduled ten community meetings to receive feedback on the draft report. The meetings are scheduled as follows:

The Commission is requesting input from parents, providers, advocates, and engaged citizens. The Commission is interested in hearing feedback from these groups on the draft report.

Again these meetings are in addition to the public hearings in City Council chambers previously scheduled. The next public hearing is scheduled for February 22, 2016.
