Philadelphia’s Office of Immigrant Affairs (OIA) celebrates Welcoming Week from September 10–25, 2026. This year’s celebration features “The Courage to Connect: 250 Years of Welcome in Philly.” The fourth annual Welcoming Awards ceremony follows this year’s Welcoming Week celebration on October 1, 2026.

Welcoming Week is a national campaign that brings communities together to celebrate the connections between immigrants and neighbors. Neighbors of all backgrounds build strong connections, further highlighting the importance of welcoming, inclusive places for a better quality of life for everyone.
