A national initiative, Welcoming Week builds common ground in Philadelphia’s communities. It encourages dialogue and forges relationships between immigrants, refugees, and U.S.-born citizens.

As a Welcoming City, Philadelphia has shown its commitment to this national cause for over five years by coordinating events and programming. This year, the Office of Immigrant Affairs and its partners are curating events that touch on the national theme of “Belonging Begins with Us.”

    Register for FREE toattend our Immigrant Career Fair and introduceyourself to employers in Philadelphia who are lookingfor multicultural and bilingual job seekers. By attending this event,you will be able to chat directly with hiring managers and potentially get interviewed onthe spot! 

    You can expect to meetwith hiring managers looking to fill over 400 positions in thefollowing industries: hospitality and entertainment, foodservice, manufacturing andlogistics, construction, and non-profit. 

    After you register, youwill be contacted by staff to attend a separate ResumeEvent where you can get feedback on your resume and practice yourinterviewing skills.

Join the City of Philadelphia Office of Immigrant Affairs and local refugee resettlement agencies to learn more about the refugee resettlement program and how you can partner to provide affordable, sustainable and inclusive housing to refugees resettled in Philadelphia.
