Welcoming Week 2021

Welcoming immigrants and connecting communities.

Official event information

When

Friday, Sept. 10 - Friday, Sept. 24, 2021

A national initiative, Welcoming Week builds common ground in Philadelphia’s communities. It encourages dialogue and forges relationships between immigrants, refugees, and U.S.-born citizens.

As a Welcoming City, Philadelphia has shown its commitment to this national cause for over five years by coordinating events and programming. This year, the Office of Immigrant Affairs and its partners are curating events that touch on the national theme of “Belonging Begins with Us.”
