In June, Philadelphia celebrates Immigrant Heritage Month, a special time to recognize and honor the valuable contributions immigrants make to our city.
This year’s theme, “Generations of Strength: Honoring the Past, Building the Future,” highlights the importance of celebrating the legacy of earlier generations and empowering today’s youth to shape tomorrow’s community.
Throughout the month, residents and local organizations will join together to celebrate immigrant experiences, encourage cultural understanding, and reaffirm Philadelphia’s commitment to welcoming and supporting immigrants.
Experience “The Philadelphians,” a powerful public art projection honoring Philadelphia’s immigrant communities, past and present.
