PHILADELPHIA – On Tuesday, March 28, 2017, Southwark School, a city of Philadelphia designated community school, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening of a new Keys of Inspiration Piano Lab, sponsored by the Lang Lang International Music Foundation. The piano lab is funded by a grant that provides Southwark with a Roland piano lab valued up to $90,000, curriculum materials, and supplementary supplies for three years to support the music teacher and Keys of Inspiration program.
Keys of Inspiration is a three-year program meant to encourage social development, build confidence, and develop a sense of achievement for youth by providing a creative, musical outlet in school.
