The Neighborhood Slow Zone Program was announced in 2018. The program works with communities to co-design the traffic calming solutions to address the needs of their neighborhood.
Slow Zones are groups of residential streets with a 20 MPH speed limit and traffic calming improvements. City staff, planners, and engineers work with residents through public Residents also gain a better understanding of engineering decisions and the changes to their streets.
The Cobbs Creek Neighborhood Slow Zone consists of the area between 57th Street (west), Cedar Avenue (north), 52nd Street (east), and Baltimore Avenue (south).
