What we do

Since its founding in 1984, Mural Arts Philadelphia has created nearly 4,000 artworks to transform public spaces. Artists from within Philadelphia and around the world create murals alongside members of the community. With each new artwork, Mural Arts aims to:

  • Empower individuals, neighborhoods, and community groups.
  • Start conversations that bring people together.
