Mayor Parker to Speak at Opening Session of National Public Leadership Conference

Time: 9:30 a.m.

Location: Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, 1201 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA

The Mayor will attend the Opening Plenary of FORUM 2026: Grounded in Greatness, hosted by the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA). The session will bring together public sector leaders from across the country to share ideas and strategies for strengthening leadership in government.

Mayor Parker to Announce Investment in Cobbs Creek Restoration and Flood Mitigation

Time: 11:00 a.m.

Location: 7403 Lansdowne Avenue, 3rd Floor, Philadelphia, PA

The Mayor will announce a City commitment to the Cobbs Creek project, supporting the Cobbs Creek Foundation’s restoration of three miles of Cobbs Creek. The project will create 25 acres of new floodplain wetlands and help reduce flooding in downstream neighborhoods.
