Mayor Parker and PPA to Hold Ceremonial Signing of Bill Funding Revitalization of Interim Bus Facility

Time: 2:00 p.m.
Location: Mayor’s Reception Room, Philadelphia City Hall, 2nd floor

The City of Philadelphia will partner with the Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) to revitalize and reactivate 1001 Filbert Street as a bus station by May 1, 2026.

The Mayor will join PPA Executive Director, Richard Lazer and several members of City Council to detail how the station will provide a clean and comfortable environment for bus-traveling visitors in time to welcome them to major events including America 250 celebrations, the FIFA World Cup, and Major League Baseball All-Star Game weekend.
