Mayor Parker and Other City Officials to Announce Details of Highway Beautification Initiative for 2026

Mayor Parker and the Office of Clean and Green Initiatives in partnership with Mural Arts Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society will announce the city’s ‘Gateways to Philadelphia’ Anti-Graffiti & Highway Beautification Project. This strategic initiative targets key transportation gateways, addressing long-standing graffiti removal needs and delivering significant landscape enhancements to priority traffic corridors and spaces – all in time for 2026 and the celebration of America’s 250th birthday.
