Mayor Parker to Speak at Press Conference Celebrating Youth Entering the Music Industry

The Kickback Impact, founded by music executive and humanitarian Mont Brown, in partnership with the City of Philadelphia and its Ring It On! initiative, will host a press conference announcing the launch of Sing That Jawn, a citywide high school vocal competition celebrating Philadelphia’s youth and connecting them to the music industry.

Funded in part by the City of Philadelphia and the Parker Administration, the competition will conclude with a professionally produced finale awarding one student scholarships, mentorship, performance opportunities, and arts funding for their school.

Celebrating the Eagles being back in the NFL playoffs, NBC Sports Philadelphia is kicking off the Wild Card Round with the return of The Road to Victory Bus Tour. The Mayor will attend the pep rally style event and join the crowd ready to cheer on the Eagles ahead of Sunday’s home game against the San Francisco 49ers.
