The Capital Program Office completed $185,000 in upgrades to the basketball courts at McCreesh Playground in Southwest Philadelphia! Funded by Council President Kenyatta Johnson, this project delivers refreshed recreational space for residents while supporting safer and more accessible outdoor amenities.
Project Scope
The improvement work focused on revitalizing the existing basketball courts and included:
- Repaving and new color coating of the courts
- Replacement of polycarbonate backboards
- Installation of new player benches
These targeted renovations ensure McCreesh Playground continues to provide quality recreational space for the surrounding community.
