12:15 p.m.   Mayor Parker to Participate in Roundtable Discussion Focused on Career Advancement and Technical Education

To increase awareness and identify policy solutions that will close the gap between college graduate and non-college graduate careers, Mayor Parker will participate in a roundtable discussion focused on technical education. The Center for American Progress (CAP) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) is hosting the Career and Technical Education (CTE) event to highlight professional advancement programs in the Philadelphia region.

1:30 p.m.   Mayor Parker to Attend Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Police Station and PAL Center

Mayor Cherelle L. Parker will join Councilmember Jeffery Young Jr., the Philadelphia Police Department, the Police Athletic League, and the Capital Program Office to officially break ground on a new 22nd District Police Station and PAL Center. The $40 million investment features a new 30,600 square foot facility.
