The Mayor will join the FTA administrator, along with local, state, and Federal electeds and SEPTA officials to speak at a press conference to announce recipients of the Federal Transit Administration Rail Vehicle Replacement Grant Program, including a $317 million grant for SEPTA to support the replacement of the Market-Frankford Line railcar fleet. Note: Members of the media should RSVP to Gerard.shields@dot.gov

2:30PM Mayor Parker to Participate in Joint Tourism Update for 2024
The Mayor will address the hospitality industry at the annual Tourism Outlook, jointly hosted by Visit Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB) to provide an overview of tourism key performance indicators from the previous year as well as to discuss the tourism outlook for the current year. This event is attended by tourism and hospitality leaders from across the region.
