11:50AM Mayor Parker Delivers Inaugural Address as First Woman Mayor in City History at City of Philadelphia Inauguration
The Mayor will be sworn in for her first term as  Mayor of Philadelphia and the first woman to hold the office in city history. She’ll join City Council members, judges, the City Commissioner, the Sheriff, Controller, and the Register of Wills who will also be installed at this ceremony.

1:30PM Mayor Parker to Administer Oath to Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin J. Bethel 
The Mayor will formally administer the oath of office during the swearing in of Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin J. Bethel. Bethel was Mayor Parker’s first major personnel announcement, and she said she viewed Bethel as a public safety expert with a national reputation in juvenile justice reform, while also possessing a deep background in knowledge about policing in Philadelphia.

3:00PM Mayor Parker to Sign Three Executive Orders 
The Mayor will sign three executive orders related to her administration’s top priorities for the first 100 days in office. 
Where: Mayor’s Office, Room 215,  2nd Floor, City Hall, Philadelphia, PA.

8:00PM Mayor Parker to Attend an Inaugural Celebration
The Mayor will join citizens, supporters, new members of her administration, family and friends at an Inaugural Celebration event. Note: The Mayor is expected to join the event at 8 p.m.
