The SPARK Innovation Academy combines innovation thinking and tech training to help Philadelphia residents, City employees, and other professionals improve their workforce skills and build confidence. You can register for one-off workshops or apply to join longer, cohort-based courses.

The SPARK Innovation Academy is designed to bridge the digital divide among local professionals. SPARK stands for:

S: Strategic design thinking.
P: Partnerships to enhance your work.
A: Applied learning in technology and innovation.
R: Research on the latest technologies.
K: Kickstart innovation for a new initiative.

The Office of Innovation and Technology's Digital Equity team runs the program in collaboration with local universities and industry experts.
