Agency History
The 16th Survey District was created in 1925 from parts of the 10th and 14th Survey Districts to cover part of the 35th Ward, west of Castor Avenue, south of Pennypack Creek and north of Frankford Creek. In 1929, the new 1st District took the area north of Cottman Avenue from the 16th District. In 1932, the 16th District was abolished and the territory given to the 10th District.
