Agency History
The 14th Survey District was created in 1901 from the 10th Survey District to cover the 35th Ward (Northeast Philadelphia) north of Cottman Avenue. In 1925, the area west of Castor Avenue and south of Pennypack Creek was given to the newly created 16th Survey District. In 1929, the boundaries of the 14th District were east of Castor Avenue, south of Grant Avenue and north of Cottman and Robbins Avenue. It was abolished in 1932. The territory became the new 8th Survey District.
