Entries for each court session list officers present, jurors chosen, confirmations of elected constables, recommendations for public house licenses, appointments of Overseers of Poor; entries for criminal cases list defendant, date, charge, grand jury finding, jurors, verdict, sentence; apprentice case entries list names of master and apprentice, summary of complaint, court's judgment in matter;
vol. 1759-1764 recapitulates all public house licenses issued 1759-1763, and presents a list, of 1761, of all public vehicles registered in City, showing owners' names, occupations, registry numbers;
vols. 1812-1837 add names of witnesses to criminal case entries, and enter many regulations concerning inns, taverns, liquor licenses, and matters concerning other City and County agencies; rear of session entries contain schedules of "Escheats of Fines" listing all defendants, offenses with which they were charged, notations of whether indicted, convicted or fined, amounts fined, totals, and (occasionally) lists of recognizances forfeited.
