Leading a bold vision for the Market East corridor, positioning it as the city's Main Street and a world-class civic and entertainment hub.
From City Hall to the Delaware River, Market East has a grand history, and many Philadelphians have important connections to it. That's why we need a coordinated plan for the corridor that community leaders, business leaders, and government officials develop together.
Mayor Cherelle L. Parker, along with the Department of Planning and Development, is leading the Market East Revival. Mayor Parker has convened the public-private Market East Revival Advisory Group to create a vision for Market East that is aspirational and achievable.
The success of this corridor is important for the city and its future, and public input is essential to our process. The City wants to hear ideas about Market East’s future from:
MY Market East is a City-operated storefront where you can learn about the Market East Revival. Drop in to see both new and archival displays, models, and photos. Anyone can talk one-on-one with a city planner, and share their vision for the future of Market East.
Visit MY Market East Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 12—6 p.m., until July 31, 2026, at 930 Market Street.
