Philadelphia Regional Emergency Medical Services (EMS), one of sixteen (16) statewide regional EMS offices, serves as a liaison between the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) Bureau of EMS and the City of Philadelphia. As such, Regional EMS is responsible for planning, interpreting, implementing and requiring compliance with the laws and regulations of EMS on the federal, state, and local levels.
