The overall purpose of the PhillyGoes2College Initiative is to motivate more youth, adults and current college students in Philadelphia to pursue and complete college. Moreover, by involving all segments of the community in this initiative, Philadelphians attending or planning to attend college in the region, will realize that Philadelphia is the ideal city to earn a college degree and to live in while pursuing a rewarding career. On Tuesday, February 23, 2010, the City of Philadelphia will celebrate the grand opening of the Philly Goes2College office in City Hall.
