Summer in the City Internships

The Philadelphia Youth Network’s WorkReady summer internships is continuing its partnership with the City of Philadelphia to provide the “Summer in the City” High School Internship program during the summer of 2012. The “Summer in the City” High School Internship program with the City of Philadelphia municipal government is a six-week internship for Philadelphia high school students beginning in early July 2012.  Students will spend 16 hours per week in an internship with a City department or office and an additional four hours in workplace skills and leadership development training with the Philadelphia Youth Network’s WorkReady summer internships.   MORE  

The Mayor’s Internship Program is a ten-week summer internship for college undergraduates and graduate students beginning on June 4, 2012.  Mayor’s Interns are placed in various city departments and offices during their internship and participate in weekly events aimed at exposing them to municipal government operations and careers. The Destination Fellowship has been suspended until further notice due to recent budget reductions.  If you are a recent college graduate or graduate-level student, please check out the Mayor’s Internship Program or the “Other Opportunities” section of our website for internship opportunities with the City of Philadelphia.
