Continuing Legal Education

The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office is an accredited Continuing Legal Education (CLE) provider.  Three times a year, we offer a two-day, twelve-credit course for prosecutors.  These programs are also open to the public.  Participants receive a total of twelve credits, including at least one ethics credit for each two-day course.

The courses are held in the Raymond J. Harley Training Center at the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, which is located at Three South Penn Square, Philadelphia, PA 19107.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the distance (i.e., virtual) learning restrictions for 2020 and 2021 have been waived. Per the PA Supreme Court, attorneys are now eligible to earn all 12 required credits from a distance learning provider. The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office is now an accredited distance learning provider and will continue offering high-quality, low-cost courses during the pandemic.

Upcoming CLE Courses:

  • July 22 - 23, 2021
  • November 2021 - TBA

Registration for the July 2021 course will open in early June. You may Venmo @DACLE-Fund, or submit a check or money order for fee payment. No cash is accepted.

If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact our CLE team at DA.CLE@phila.gov.
